POP MART's The Monsters — Exciting Macaron (搪胶脸 心动马卡龙系列), released October 27, 2023, puts the Monsters IP into a macaron-themed set of seven figures, each retailing at $27.99 USD. Six are standard pulls: Soymilk, Lychee Berry, Green Grape, Sea Salt Coconut, Toffee, and Sesame Bean. The seventh is the secret chase, Chestnut Cocoa. What I find satisfying about this series is the flavor-driven naming — it gives collectors a clear secondary target beyond just hunting the chase, since Lychee Berry and Sea Salt Coconut feel genuinely distinct as concepts rather than arbitrary labels. Chestnut Cocoa will be the figure most people want out of the box first, so if you're buying singles on the aftermarket rather than pulling a full set, plan accordingly for the chase markup.
